Specializations are a game mechanic introduced in Battlefield: Bad Company 2′s multiplayer, that provide benefits to the player and allow customization and tailor-made combat roles. These mechanics, along with a few tweaks, are still present in Battlefield 3.
Below is the breakdown of Battlefield 3′s Vehicle Specializations available to you for vehicle customization.
Icon Name For Vehicle(s) Description
STEALTH Air Engine tuning and fuselage coating materials disguise your vehicle’s infrared signature, increasing enemy locking and tracking difficulty and decreasing the time you are revealed to the enemy from being spotted
IR FLARES Air Infrared flare launchers that when launched will distract incoming missiles and cause them to miss there locked target
HEATSEEKERS Air Heat seeking missiles launched by the pilot which lock on to the track enemy aircraft
BELT SPEED Air An enhanced mechanism decreases the minimum time between firing bursts with you main weapon
PROXIMITY SCAN Air External sensors detect and reveal enemy units on your minimap
AIR RADAR Air The range of your minimap increases greatly and reveals all friendly and enemy aircraft
EXTINGUISHER Air A controlled air pressure release in the engine compartment will extinguish engine fires when activated, helping a disabled aircraft return to normal operation and recover from damage
MAINTENANCE Air Preventative maintenance procedures improve you vehicles recovery from damage
GUIDED MISSILE Air Guided missiles launched by the pilot which lock on to and track enemy land vehicles and can acquire laser-designated targets even if they are out of line-of-sight
LASER PAINTER Air Nose-mounted targeting systems designate an enemy vehicle in you line of sight automatically, painting them as a target for teammates using laser-guided weapons
ECM JAMMER Air Electronic countermeasures including chaff launchers and deceptive transmitters prevent your aircraft from being locked on to by enemy weapon systems for a short time when activated
IR SMOKE Land Smoke grenades enhanced with metal filaments that when launched remove laser-designation, spoof incoming guided missiles, and prevent enemies from revealing you position to teammates
ATGM LAUNCHER Land Wire-guided anti-tank missile launchers are mounted on the turret
BELT SPEED Land An enhanced mechanism decreases the minimum time between firing bursts with you main weapon
COAXIAL LMG Land A light machinegun mounted coaxially on your main weapon
THERMAL OPTICS Land A secondary weapon sight with thermal optics that highlights soldiers and vehicles for efficient target identification
PROXIMITY SCAN Land External sensors detect and reveal enemy units on your minimap
MAINTENANCE Land Preventative maintenance procedures improve you vehicles recovery from damage
APFSDS-T SHELL Land Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot (with Tracer). Ammo which deals more direct damage but has no explosive element
THERMAL CAMO Land Anti-reflective coating on your vehicle increases enemy locking and tracking difficulty and decreases the time you are revealed to the enemy from being spotted
GUIDED MISSILE Land Guided missiles launched by the pilot which lock on to and track enemy land vehicles and can acquire laser-designated targets even if they are out of line-of-sight
REACTIVE ARMOR Land Reactive armor panels and/or slats absorb the impact from anti-tank weapons, protecting you from damage but becoming destroyed in the process
AUTOLOADER Unknown An enhanced mechanism decreases the minimum time between firing bursts with your main weapon
ZOOM OPTICS Unknown A secondary weapon sight for the gunner position with up to 3x magnification
COAXIAL HMG Unknown A heavy machinegun mounted coaxially to your main weapon
GUIDED SHELL Unknown A Smart Target-Activated Fire and Forget shell that can lock on to and track enemy land vehicles and can acquire laser-designated targets even if they are out of line-of-sight
CANISTER SHELL Unknown A tank shell encasing thousands of tungsten balls fired through the cannon muzzle like a shotgun
ANTI-AIR MISSILE Land Anti-aircraft missile launchers are mounted on the turret which will lock on to and track enemy air vehicles
BEAM SCANNING Unknown A computer upgrade for advanced weapon systems that help you lock on to enemy targets faster when using heat seeking of laser-guided missiles

Prepare-se para ficar um dia sem PSN

A PlayStation Network passa por manutenções o tempo todo. Geralmente, essas faxinas duram de duas a quatro horas ? mas não desta vez. Na quinta-feira (1º de março), a PSN vai ficar offline por cerca de 14 horas. Segundo o PlayStation Blog brasileiro, a rede do PS3 vai ficar indisponível das 13h de quinta até aproximadamente 3h de sexta (2).

Durante esse apocalipse, tudo o que for relacionado à PSN vai ficar fora do ar: a PlayStation Store, multiplayer online, o acesso às contas e ao PlayStation Home. Se você estiver conectado quando a manutenção começar, você vai ser desconectado, é claro. Você não vai nem conseguir acessar o PlayStation Blog para saber das atualizações, porque ele vai passar pela manutenção também.

GENERAL GAMEPLAY FIXES:

-Players should no longer take fall damage from short falls.
-Players now get up from Prone slightly faster, allowing better odds of getting away from a grenade or threat when prone.
-Fixed some situations that would unintentionally make a player unrevivable.
-Reduced the black screen fade in time on spawn. The fade is still necessary for properly streaming in loading content at spawn, but it has been substantially reduced.
-Increased the spawn protection time from 1sec to 2sec. The protection will still be immediately canceled as soon as the player moves or shoots.
-Spawn protection will no longer be canceled by the player looking around.
-Increased the speed at which a player regains accuracy when aiming after moving for a more responsive experience. Firing before fully zoomed will still result inaccurate fire.
-Increased the inaccuracy and recoil added when a player is fully suppressed.
-Shotgun Buck and Flechette rounds now have a less suppressive effect at medium to long range.
-Tweaked the damage levels of Buck and Flechette rounds to balance them with other weapons.
-Improved the suppression of the .44 magnum, .357 magnum, and the 5.8x42mm DAP88 rounds from the Type88 sniper.
-Attempting to Crouch (like Prone) will now properly interrupt Sprint.
-Increased the effectiveness of Suppression Resist Specialization.
-Parachutes now respond to turn and throttle inputs more quickly.
-Switching from primary weapons to side arms and back now takes less time.
-Increased the effectiveness of explosive resistance.
-Tweaked bipod deploy settings so players can no longer deploy a bipod in places higher than chin level.
-The bipod should now be more reliable when deploying on top of sloped objects like cars and rocks.
-Fixed several issues with vaulting objects, especially for thin railings.
-The Knife now only takes two swipes to kill when attacking from a position where a take down is not possible.
-CRAM weapons on Carriers now count towards stationary weapon awards.

Como todos sabemos montagens do jogo Battlefield 3 é oque não falta na internet, mais a que vem chamando mais atenção ultimamente foi uma postada no Youtube por um usuário não muito popular.

Muita gente esta acreditando que a montagem poderia servir de ideia para um suposto filme do Battlefield, pois o vídeo mostra uma historia de heroísmo e superação.

E você oque acha deles fazerem um filme sobre a famosa serie de jogos Battlefield?
